Here are some wonderful questions {7} from several people and my answers {7} over the last couple of years that I have been hosting this awesome time of celebrating the Lord’s Birth {if you have any questions, please let me know}:
I. What denomination is this:
We are Non-Denominational.
II. What do I need to have for the Lord’s Supper:
As this is Online, of course it’s hard to obtain the “Church Wafers” and “Drink” that we supply in Church. Therefore, what we do, is we utilize crackers, bread, and/or rolls and then for the drink, we normally use just Grape Juice.
III. What translation do you use when reading scripture?
We provide the New King James Version NKJV
IV. What if I have not accepted Jesus into my life, can I still celebrate?
Awesome question and please reach out to us for the details but yes, we always have a time of reflection, forgiveness of sins, and offer those an opportunity to accept Jesus Christ into their lives or perhaps for those that want to rededicate their lives to Jesus, all prior to the Lord’s Supper Celebration.
V. Can my children participate?
Of course, that’s so awesome and what an exciting time to see parents, grandparents, and guardians, all getting their children to participate in the celebration of the Lord. So, yes, please, bring the kiddos and grandkiddos and lets all celebrate together.
VI. What if I am not up at midnight, can I watch this later?
Of course, and yes please. This will stay on our Facebook Wall so no worries.
VII. Some Churches say Communion and some say Lord's Supper... What’s the difference between The Lord’s Supper and Communion?
The Eucharist {Greek}; also known as the The Lord’s Supper well as The Holy Communion within various Church Denominations. Without going into Denominational differences on how the different Dominations believe - the elements utilized – practice - distribute, the common denominator is Jesus in fact Jesus Christ… as He says, do this in remembrance of Me.
